Mr. Ouk Vora elected as the Council Member of the International Media Community

Beijing, September 10, 2019: Mr. Ouk Vora, CEO of Digital Sky and Vice President of Royal Group of Companies of Oknha Kith Meng, has been elected as the "council member" of the 2019 Belt and Road Media Community in Beijing.

The "Belt and Road Media Community" was initiated by China International Television Corporation (CITVC) in 2016, with 103 members and partners from 51 countries as of 2018.

The Community carries out its mission to foster, develop, strengthen and expand the scope of cooperation by adhering to the spirit of the Silk Road, including "Peace and Cooperation, Openness and Inclusion, Learning and Reflection, Mutual Benefit and win-win Development".

The community has two committees: the Advisory Committee and the expert committee. The Expert Committee is tasked with promoting, enhancing and expanding the scope of cooperation: 1) media cooperation, 2) integrated communication systems, 3) broadcasting programs, 4) industry cooperation.

At the plenary session, the community decided to nominate Mr. Ouk Vora as the "council member" of the expert committee, tasked with promoting, developing and strengthening industrial cooperation. Speaking at the plenary session, Mr. Ouk Vora thanked H.E Shen Haixiong, the Chairman of the Belt and Road Media Community and China Media Group and the Vice Chairman of the Board, and the Community Board altogether that decided to give him a "council member" vote. Mr. Ouk Vora continued to commit to the role and respect of the community charter and asked the community to promote the youth education training program in response to the progress of the fourth-generation industrial revolution and to continue supporting China's leadership role, which China is currently pursuing with advances in digital technology and artificial intelligence AI.

Please note that Digital Sky is a subsidiary of Royal Group of Companies, which has the largest broadcasting channels in the Kingdom of Cambodia, including OneTV, SkyOne, Lagoona TV, OneTV Sabay and other eight TV channels.
